I wanted to blog everyday so that my family in Idaho would be kept updated on how our Trip to Virginia was going.  The trip was uneventful considering we were traveling for 12 hours.  The children were very well behaved and everyone around them told us what great travelers we had.  It is always nice to hear that.  We got in around 2:30 A.M.

Thank you Card

For those of you who don't know I am in a card Club, and I love it.  Here is my Card that I made for this month.  I was quite please at how it turned out.  I going to try and post my "creative" idea's on here as well.  So if I happen to have a swap or just at home playing with my things I will post what I have done.   The lettering is done in vinyl.  It was sure fun to make this card.

Is Springtime Finally HERE?!?

Today was the first day where the kids could put on their jackets and go outside to play.  They had so much fun just swinging on the swings and walking around in the backyard.  Karly stayed outside the longest.  She absolutely loves play in the dirt and on the lawn.  She could stay out there for hours, not even minding if she was by herself.  I think she is going to be an outdoors girl.  What fun it was to watch my children from the window just enjoying each other's company.  (Jayson was at a friends house when these were taken.)

Blue and Gold Banquet TIME!!

Here is Christopher Getting his Science award for Cub Scouts!
What a Proud Boy!!
Here is Christopher's Dessert.. He absolutely refused to work with dad and Jayson once he saw what they were making.  So he said "Mom ummm how bout I make my own dessert for the dessert table. (each boy and their father needed to make a dessert and the desserts would be for eating after dinner and they would each get an award) So Chris wanted to make brownies.  He made them all by himself and the pan was clean at the end of the night..  And the AWARD goes to Chris Wiggins For  CLEVEREST USE OF POWDERED SUGAR!!!!
Now here is Jayson and Joe's Dessert.  First start with one Clean (NEW) Kitty liter tray.  Line the pan with Ice cream sandwiches and than on top of that add a layer of Cool Whip. (sounds good so far right)
MMMMMMM.. Even Looks Good (right NOW)

Blue and Gold Banquet TIME!!

Now add The Gravel Mix (oreo & Vanilla Wafer Crushed with blue and green cake sprinkles) on top of Cool Whip
Here is the Kitty POOP!  Which is really warmed Tootsie Rolls rolled in the Gravel Mix.
And what you got is A TASTY treat.  But just when you think it doesn't get any better, it does.  The dark spots in the gravel is actually carmel syrup Ice Cream topping.  (Come on you know we had to have some urine.)
And here are the Happy Chefs.. Well done boys!!  Now the question is Who wants the first PIECE???
And the award goes to...... Jayson Wiggins for THE MOST DISGUSTING DESIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad News!

On Sunday Morning,  Joe's Family called and told us that Keister King (Joe's Grandfather) had returned to his Heavenly Father.  He had lived a wonderful life and thanks to Pam our family has a book called "Took a Licking & Still Kicking" The Autobiography of Keister Troy King. I am grateful that we have this book so that my children and their children will get to read and learn about their Great Grandfather.
I asked Joe what his favorite memory was of his grandfather, he told me "we had a great time together fishing, boat riding and when I used to go to karaoke at the Beach I would always stay with my grandparents. Another memory that Joe has was helping Keister remodel the house in Southampton County.  As for me my favorite memory was a quote he would tell me when I worked at the bank. He would say "how is the banking business?"  Than he would tell me " Put in a Penny, Take out a dime.  Pretty soon this bank will be mine!"  We love you and will miss you Keister!!

Valentines Day 2009

This has been a busy week. I wanted to get this up earlier but just haven't had a minute, till now.  On Friday night the Elder's had a Valentines dance at the Ward.  It was a lot of fun.  It was black tie or Suit only.  I loved this because it gave us a great excuse to dress up.  Joe came and picked me up like he was my boyfriend.  He met my mother and she asked him where we were going?  What we were doing?  and the most important what his intentions were.  I came down and he gave me 2 presents.  One is the Necklace that I am wearing and the other was matching earrings.  It was so thoughtful.  I have worn them everyday since.  We had a great dinner and danced most of the songs.  After we cleaned up the church and loaded up all Joe's musical equipment we were asked if we wanted to go to Cold Stone Creamery (ice cream place) with 7 other couples.  It was so much fun.  One of the best parts was my aunt Jackie and my Mom babysat so it was FREE babysitting!!!

Jayson's Birthday Part 3

Whew!  This is the finally and last part to Jayson turning 8.  It was been a lot of fun but as with everything it can't last forever.  Jayson had a friend Birthday party on Saturday. He got to invite 3 other friends and have them come over for a Wii Party.  He had such a fun time.  He was tired of cake so we had chocolate chip cookies for his treat.  He received a Rubik's cube and a laser tag gun game.  I had totally meant to take some pictures but as with all good intentions some are forgotten.  He and his friend played 3 or 4 games with Joe supervising.  They all had a lot of fun!!

Jayson's Birthday Part 2

On Friday was Jayson's Family birthday party.  The house was packed.  We had a good time and Jayson got so many wonderful gifts.  Here are a few.  I am only allowed 5 Pictures so here are some gifts he got that weren't pictured.  Grandma and Grandpa Johnson gave him Pirates of the Carribian  book on CD for at bedtime, and also his Cub Scout Book.  We gave him a Wii Game called Star Wars complete saga.  He loved it.  Scott and Sarah gave him Monopoly (the world version).  He loves playing it.  It comes with credit cards and a calculator.  Perfect gift for him. Jayson says it was one of his best birthdays yet.

Grandma and Grandaddy Wiggins gave his a Set of Scriptures, a Scripture case and a Cub Scout shirt. (To be Pictured later!)  He was so happy to have his own set and also excited to take them to church on Sunday.
James and Alecia gave him a SCOOTER.  He was out riding it all Saturday.  He totally loved it.  Chris now of course says now I need one so we can RACE!!
This is a game he got for his birthday from his aunt YaaYaa and Uncle Karl.  It is called Heroscape.  FUN FUN Game.  Jayson was thrilled!!
Jayson LOVED the cake I decorated for his Birthday.  I had one of my very good friend help me. (Thank you Melena!!)  I did all the writing and I outlined the decepticon icon (from transformers in case you didn't know.) They are the bad guys.  Jayson really likes Transformers

Jayson's Birthday Part 1

On Thursday Jayson turned 8 yrs old.  He was so excited but knew that his birthday had to be broken into 3 parts.  Part one was his actual birthday, February 5.  I am in the Young Women's as the Personal Progress Lady.  On this night I had to be at the church for New Beginnings.  He also had to be at the church for his first Cub Scout activity.(more to come about that).  When he was finished at Scouts, he helped me at my activity.  When the games and fun was all over. The Young Women President gave Jayson ALL the balloons that helped decorate the GYM!!  He was in heaven.  He had alot of fun helping his mom that night

Puppet Master

well today was definatly interesting.  Today I felt like 5 year olds were in control. Here is what happened.  Zachary wanted to invite a new friend over from school,  He makes friends easily.   I sent with him a note to school telling the mother of the friend (let's call him Adam) that Zachary would love to have him come and play.  When Zachary got home from school, Adam called right up and said I could play, However it also sounded like a fax machine was also on the line.  So Zachary just hung up, but wanted to call Adam right back.  So we did, but what we didn't know was that Adam's  mother had a new fax machine and while she was trying to get it working, Adam was on the other line calling Zachary.  She apologized and said that he would be able to call Zachary back in a while ( I think she must of meant tommarrow but again I was a bit confused.)  Well 25 min later, Adam called Zachary and said "Hey I can play"!  Can you come and get me.  So Zachary told me that his new friend could play  I told him I needed directions to his house and Adam proceeded to tell Zack his garage number and street name.  I heard him ask for the information and made sure it was a real street name.  We got to his house and brought him here to play.  (here is where it gets interesting) NOT five minutes after we got Back I received a phone call and it was Adam's mother wondering where  her son was.  Come to find out he never asked his mother if he could come to Zachary's house and it was his sister who had helped him with the plan.  I had wondered why she didn't come and want to meet me.. hehehe Well it makes me laugh.. I think Next time  I will really make sure to talk the MOTHER. LOL!!
